The workshop on "Revamping Hydropower Research," organised by EERA JP Clean Energy TranSition for Sustainable Society (e3s), JP Hydropower, and tJP Digitalisation for Energy, will take place in Brussels on September 24th, 2024.

Background

In light of the pressing need to accelerate the clean energy transition (CET) and meet ambitious climate targets, Europe faces challenges that require a multidisciplinary approach. Recent policy developments emphasize the crucial role of hydropower in achieving these goals, highlighting the importance of integrating digitalization, grid optimization, and environmental considerations.

• 10 May 2024 Abstract* submission deadline – Extended deadline!
• 17 May 2024 – Abstract acceptance notification
• 5 July 2024 – Full length paper** submission
• 9 August 2024 – Acceptance notification for oral presentation and communication of possible remarks/feedback
• 26 August 2024 - Final full length paper submission (this applies only to papers that received remarks/feedback/requests of improvement)
• 14 October 2024 - Final submission to IOP by the Scientific Committee
